Job Description
The Warehouse I will safely and efficiently prepare products for deliveries unloads trucks and containers and can securely operate all warehouse equipment. The Warehouse position requires constant standing walking reaching and squatting as products are moved throughout the facility. Being on time is a necessity within this role.
Who are you
An individual with at least one year of experience in the warehousing industry. Forklift experience preferred but not required. You must enjoy working in a team environment and the ability to work independently. This position will be scheduled from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
What does this job look like daily
- Safely and efficiently loads and unloads trucks containers etc.
- Safely operates all warehouse equipment including pallet jacks shrink wrap machines etc.
- Properly receives freight including verifying piece count checking the freight for visible damage signing off on the BOL and retaining copies for our records.
- Effectively process queries and orders in RF device.
- Quality checks on orders prior to shipping; capturing pictures of pallets.
- Maintains a clean and organized dock including but not limited to: sweeping mopping refuge disposal keeping entrances and the dock area neat and in an orderly fashion.
Knowledge and Skills to be successful:
- One or more years of Warehouse experience preferred
- Current Forklift Certification preferred
- Ability to speak and read/comprehend in English for interaction with both clients and drivers
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the floor
- Ability to engage in manual labor for 6-8 hours a day
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including cold
- Basic computer and math skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
