Day Centre Manager
Kettering
Monday Friday 9am 3pm

Temporary with the opportunity of a permanent position
We are currently recruiting for a Day Manager on behalf of our client a leading charity in the UK this candidate will lead operations at their Kettering Day Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a background in care team leadership and activity planning to play a pivotal role in delivering quality services and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead support and develop a team of care staff and volunteers.
- Conduct regular staff supervisions and annual appraisals.
- Ensure high-quality person-centred care.
- Plan engaging and meaningful daily activities and events.
- Oversee the wellbeing of clients staff and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health regulations.
- Work alongside senior staff to explore and expand day care offerings in the area.
The candidate
- Proven experience caring for elderly adults.
- Team leadership or management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- IT literacy and confident with record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Previous care-based experience and safeguarding knowledge.
- Skilled at handling difficult conversations and situations.
