Job Description

Your role

You want to drive change and establish business process excellence at ZEISS This position provides you with the opportunity to work on one of ZEISS key group programs and to shape our S/4HANA greenfield business transformation to drive harmonization and standardization of the reporting landscape within SAP and structures that define the way how ZEISS will work for years to come. You will take responsibility to achieve the best solution for ZEISS balancing individual functional and business segment needs by improving the SAP reporting requirements working on topics such as:

  • Primary Reporting Contact for Roll-ins: Serve as the initial point of contact for entities involved in roll-ins.

  • Intermediary Between Hub and Global Team: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the Hub and the Global Team for Business Reporting Transformation (BRT).

  • Fit-to-Template (F2T) Introduction Meeting: Organize and provide participants for the Business Reporting Transformation (BRT) F2T Introduction Meeting.

  • F2T Workshop: Pre-align with end-to-end (E2E) streams to establish workshop expectations and support the demonstration of available solutions.

  • Requirement Analysis: Coordinate and assist in gathering requirements from E2E streams prepare deviation requests and align these requests with global E2E teams.

  • Process Specification: Define whether requirements are global or local and support the creation of functional specifications (FS) in collaboration with the E2E stream of the Hub or Global Transformation Program (GTP) for reporting needs.

  • Testing: Prepare and execute Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (ITC & UAT) in alignment with Business Reporting Transformation (BRT) and E2E Stream who needs the report.

You will take on a coordination role understanding and mastering the individual processes in collaboration with ZEISS functions and process experts in a goal-oriented manner. In addition you will exchange information with your fellow workstream leads to ensure best practice sharing and integration into related processes or systems (e.g. BW/4HANA) and report your results to the overall program management. You own the alignment of the workstream progress with the overall program plan ensure planning implementation and improvement measures of your workstream and thus make a significant contribution to the overall project success.

Your profile

  • a bachelors degree in business administration Industrial Engineering or a similar field of study

  • preferred experience managing/coordinating projects in business process excellence - experience with SAP ERP transformations

  • reporting experience incl. requirement engineering reporting architecture and various SAP reporting types

  • results-oriented analytical and organizational skills paired with strong change communications skills to develop and successfully implement strategic plans

  • a strong change management perspective

  • strong English skills
