What Youll Do
As an Electrical Design Engineer at Luxus Build youll take a hands-on role in designing electrical systems that power our projects from concept through construction. Youll collaborate closely with architects and other engineers to create integrated efficient and code-compliant electrical solutions across a variety of building types.
Key Responsibilities
Design power distribution lighting fire alarm and low voltage systems for buildings
Create and maintain detailed Revit models and construction documents
Coordinate electrical systems with architectural and mechanical design
Perform electrical calculations layout design and equipment selection
Prepare panel schedules riser diagrams and circuiting plans
Review design codes and ensure project compliance with the NEC and other standards
Support construction administration tasks including RFIs and submittal reviews
Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical development initiatives
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
2 to 10 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Excellent communication organization and team coordination skills
EIT certification or PE license is a plus but not required
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to design challenges
