FIFO Plumber & Gasfitter
From $118551 Gross Per Year Allowances Super

We are seeking 1 SA Trade Licenced Plumber & Gasfitting Servicing to join the BHP Olympic Dam team on a FIFO 14&14 Days Only roster. This position is full time permanent. Site comprises of 2650 rooms in Village 500 homes in Roxby Downs and another 462 in Minesite and boasts amenities such as Pools BBQs Gym Squash Room Outdoor area with Courts etc. Flights are from Adelaide Airport approx. 90 mins or DIDO available for locals to Roxby Village. Youll have a permanent room and a back to back team member. Ideal candidate is available to begin the recruitment process immediately for an August 2025 start date.
THE POSITION
- Reporting directly to Maintenance Supervisor ensuring continuity of essential services in a complex environment
- Repair and maintain plumbing washers pipes drains
- Install pipe assemblies fittings valves appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters and fixtures such as sinks and toilets etc.
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
- Working in remote Accommodation Villages including Temporary and Permanent Housing Commercial Kitchens Dining Rooms Laundry Office Buildings etc.
- Prioritising urgent works meeting rectification deadlines. Actively manage and meet response times
- Additional Allowances available such as On Call Allowance 3 Hour Min call out at penalty rates when required Nominee Allowance Leading Hand Allowance if applicable.
THE PERSON
- Current SA Plumbing & Gasfitting Licence
- Plumbing Contractors Licence highly desirable
- Full C Class Drivers Licence White Card
- Current Police Check within 12 months
- Ability to access Adelaide airport on a fly in fly out basis or live nearby to DIDO to Roxby Downs
- Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
