Your Opportunity
Mission Australia Housing provides social and affordable housing to vulnerable Australians ensuring they have access to good quality housing that enables people to participate in their communities.
We are looking for a proactive organised and customerfocused Operations Support Officer to join our passionate team. In this role you will play a vital part in supporting daytoday operations ensuring our tenants and stakeholders receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly. You will act as a key point of contact ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally operational processes are followed and any issues are resolved promptly.
Your ability to coordinate tasks manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records will be essential in helping us deliver exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Complete a range of administrative tasks to support MA housing team by adhering to policies
- Backfilling leave and vacant positions
- Work with multiple teams to support daily operations
- Maintain and update housing databases client records and reporting systems
- Support the coordination of property management maintenance requests and community engagement
- Liaise with service providers tenants and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery
- Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies that connect tenants to additional support
Requirements for Success
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups
- Housing or real estate experience with relevant qualifications in social or community services
- Experience in Asset Management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management system
- Drivers licence with no restrictions
