HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Forecasting and Planning Analyst provides leadership and analytical skills to ensure our brands have the right product in the right place at the right time. This role involves making daily decisions that maximize profitability and has a large impact on sales margin and inventory.
This role reports into the Sr. Analyst Manager or Sr. Manager and is based in our Buckhead GA office.
Responsibilities include:
60% - Buying/Forecasting
Publish monthly costing and capacity supply forecasts to factories sourcing and production teams
Create and maintain all buys including any negotiations with factories on delays shortages or overages
Forecasting: Working with cross channel/team members to forecast WHS demand consolidate demand across channels and run buys forecasts and fabric commits through Anaplan
Support multiple buying methods: including but not limited to commit replenishment segmentation short life and ever green product
Manage the physical flow of inventory to support both customer demand and warehouse capacities
Calendar and buy strategy development: Help support buy/forecast/fabric commit calendars and help develop key strategies related to buy strategies (segmentation long life product cycles commit and replenishment styles)
30% - Order Management
Proactively manage customer purchase orders and all related aspects
Determine the business impact of any delivery issues prioritize and communicate any issues relative to product flow as they arise
Communicate with transportation/warehouse teams to execute on time shipment to customers
Compile all necessary documentation for customer item setups and customs compliance for import into final country destinations
Meet with external customer teams to provide information and support as needed for clear communication and positive results
10% - Reporting/Project Management
Operations team representative for new company initiatives and system rollouts
Proactively uncover opportunities to improve processes and create efficient tools
Monitor open-to-buy and inventory plans for respective business units provide MAM updates for the forecast cross train with other SBUs to ensure all deliverables are met
WED LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:
Knowledge of fundamental Operations fundamentals (Supply and Demand matching forecast error safety stock inventory turn service level open to buy management constrained supply etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and an intermediate/advanced user of Excel
Candidate must have a strong focus and proven attention to detail
Excellent communication analytical leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to combine analytical skills with practical business knowledge
Preferred skills and experience:
0-3 years of experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels
Proactively identifies and implements process improvements to generate additional revenue and reduce non-value add work
Process improvement minded and ability to multitask with shifting priorities
Team player who works well in a collaborative environment
