The Role
As a Patent Paralegalyou will:
- Prepare and submit responses to EPO communications including liaising on translations and official documentation.
- Handle grant notifications and validations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Draft Powers of Attorney and managing name change/assignment records.
- Monitor legal deadlines and keeping case files and records up to date.
- Communicate directly with clients foreign counsel and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience working with patent and design filings including EP and international matters.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage complex deadlines and organise large volumes of data.
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a busy supportive team.
- Familiarity with IP systems and procedures; CIPA qualification is a plus but not essential.
