Are you community-minded and take pride in keeping public spaces clean safe and welcoming Glenorchy City Council is seeking three Multi-Skilled Labourers to join our CBD Cleanliness Team helping to maintain the presentation and amenity of key areas across Glenorchy Moonah and Claremont.
These roles offer a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and want to make a visible difference in their local community.
Position Focus Areas
Each position will contribute to a broad range of labouring activities with a dedicated focus on one of the following areas:
Painting Minor asset painting surface preparation and touch-ups
Pressure Cleaning & Graffiti Removal Pressure cleaning of public amenities and the timely removal and documentation of graffiti on public assets
General Cleaning Litter collection public amenity cleaning and streetscape upkeep
What Were Looking For
Experience in general labouring painting pressure cleaner operation graffiti removal or cleaning
A strong sense of community pride and attention to detail
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Reliable proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and safe work practices
Licenses/Accreditation (Essential)
Vehicle and Medium Rigid Truck (MR) Class license
White Card
Traffic Management Accreditation
First Aid Certification
