Summary:
Responsible for small-medium single-site practice or smaller multi-site practices (3 or more locations). Provides direct supervision of the administrative and clinical support staff and operational duties and functions. As a member of the leadership team provides administrative cross coverage to manage staffing and/or operational issues.

ABOUT BROOKSIDE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER:
Brookside is a licensed Community Health Center of Brigham and Womens Hospital and provides multi-disciplinary comprehensive care with services in a range of medical areas including: Adult Family and Pediatric Primary Care OB/GYN Family Planning Dental/Oral Surgery Nutrition/WIC Behavioral Health and Specialty Medicine (CardiologyPulmonology and Nephrology).
Brookside also has a Laboratory onsite Financial Counseling and Community Resource Specialists. Each year more than 11000 patients from Jamaica Plain the city of Boston and surrounding areas use these services producing more than 69000 visits to Brookside each year. Most of Brooksides patient population are Spanish speaking and socioeconomically underserved. The health centers services guided by equity are provided by a bilingualEnglish/Spanish medical and professional staff. Brookside is a teaching site for Harvard Medical School Mass GeneralInstitute of Health Professionals School of Nursing Harvard Dental School Boston University Dental School as well asother Boston area health care professional programs

Essential Functions:
-Oversees the day-to-day administrative performance of secretarial and clinical support staff and manage staff schedules. Evaluates daily staffing needs and coordinates replacement of staff.
-Performs hiring orientation and evaluation of staff. Administers corrective action if appropriate.
-Assists in the career development of practice employees through on-going coaching counseling and training. Ensures all mandatory training is completed by staff and HIPAA policies and procedures are followed by staff. Evaluates develops and implements administrative systems and procedures designed to maximize practice operations. Regularly evaluates and analyzes practice performance metrics. Collaborates with practice leaders on the preparation of the practices annual budgets.
-Oversees the departments payroll including the resolution of payroll issues. Monitors patient billing activity to ensure compliance with revenue procedures.
