CarelonRx Account Manager II

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The CarelonRx Account Manager II is responsible for retention and operational excellence that meets/exceeds client service and satisfaction goals for a complex book of business.

How you will make an impact:

  • Cultivates/builds relationships with broker/consultant/client key decision makers through quality service.
  • Influences and collaborates with internal partners to deliver best-in-class service including resolving operational issues root cause analysis and driving recovery efforts that directly influence account retention and growth.
  • Executes client-specific operational deliverables including benefit set up reporting and project support as needed.
  • Implements/manages contractual obligations including standard performance/operational guarantees and rebate strategies.
  • Leverages data to track account performance and identify trends/opportunities for input/recommendations on client growth and retention strategies. Responsible for operational understanding of all Rx products and solutions.
  • Supports implementation for new/existing clients and contract renewals.
  • Trains/mentors lower-level Account Management staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in account management sales or managing business/client relationships; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) account management and/or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) account management preferred.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
  • Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral written and interpersonal communication skills problem-solving skills facilitation skills and analytical skills.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Labor & Trust

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s) the salary* range for this specific position is $76440 to $131040.
