Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain effective production schedules to fulfill customer orders and meet internal deadlines
- Analyze inventory levels production capacity and available resources to optimize workflow and reduce bottlenecks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production supply chain and quality assurance teams to resolve scheduling conflicts
- Continuously adjust schedules in response to equipment availability production changes and shifting customer needs
- Use ERP/MRP software and scheduling tools to track production and report on key performance metrics
- Lead mentor and support a team of scheduling coordinators to ensure operational efficiency and accountability
- Conduct regular reviews of scheduling systems and recommend process improvements to reduce lead times and increase productivity
- Ensure scheduling operations comply with safety quality and regulatory standards
- Partner with upper management to align scheduling strategies with broader company goals
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes production planning and inventory management
- Proficiency in scheduling tools and ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-functional collaboration
