Sanitation Associate
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
The Sanitation Associate is responsible for supporting the sanitation operator with all aspects of sanitation within the plant. The goal is to achieve full plant compliance with all personnel safety food safety sanitation/cleaning standards pertaining to all federal state customer requirements and the companys own food safety and manufacturing standards.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- General cleaning of offices break room lobby and hallways in accordance with daily/weekly/monthly checklist
- Clean and sanitize production areas including walls floors and process equipment in
accordance with SOPs and daily/weekly/monthly checklist
- Removal of refuse from offices and production areas.
- Completion of all required documentation
- Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies
- Perform assigned tasks including but not limited to:
- Lifting up to 501b
- Cleaning and sanitation of production areas
- Operation of cleaning equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
- Ability to work with others collaboratively.
Preferred
- Food manufacturing experience.
- Manufacturing experience under GMPs or quality management systems.
- Soldering experience desired.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel and the ability to talk and hear.
- Ability to frequently sit stand walk reach within arms length climb or balance
stoop kneel and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
