Job Description

Role: Organizational Change Manager

Location: Vancouver BC (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Description:

Organizational Change Manager:

  • The Organizational Change Manager will work on a self-directed agile team under the managerial direction of Manager Strategy. In addition the successful candidate will work closely with various business areas throughout the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies.
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities to various streams of work
  • Conduct impact analyses assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
  • Develop strategies and integrate change management activities into program plan
  • Work closely with the Modernization team to implement OCM communications strategies
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance across cross-functional teams
  • Support the design development delivery and management of communications
  • Create training plans and materials and manage the delivery of end-user training including subsequent follow-up activities and effectiveness assessment.
  • Identify analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics to ensure adoption of transformation initiatives.
  • Utilize a customer-focused approach and provide direct support and coaching to end users and frontline managers as they help their direct report through transitions.

Required Qualifications or Experience:

  • Prosci certified change practitioner
  • 5 years hands-on experience in agile environments
  • Excellent presentation training and coaching skills
  • 5 years experience in Change Management across operational organizations
  • 3 years experience working with a variety of stakeholders (field techs executives etc.)
  • 3 years experience in Health Insurance and/or Financial industries and environments

Preferred Qualifications or Experience

  • Self-motivated results-driven and able to effectively deal with a certain degree of ambiguity/autonomy
  • Strong team player who can work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals while driving results in a dynamic organization
  • Demonstrate ability to thrive in an environment where you do not directly control all the success factors
  • Ability to grasp the big picture for a solution by considering potential options and impacted areas
  • Past experience working in a unionized environment
  • High levels of energy resilience intelligence and integrity
