Job Summary:
We are actively seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale data center infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning installation integration and commissioning of low voltage systems including structured cabling fiber optics access control CCTV and other critical infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data center environments and demonstrate leadership in delivering projects on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full project lifecycle of low voltage systems for mission-critical data centers.
Oversee installation of structured cabling (Cat6 Cat6A fiber) raceways access control CCTV and monitoring systems.
Collaborate with general contractors vendors engineers and client stakeholders to ensure alignment with project specifications.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans schedules and cost tracking tools.
Ensure all installations meet or exceed industry standards (TIA/EIA NEC BICSI Uptime Institute).
Conduct site walks review designs and supervise QA/QC and safety compliance.
Provide weekly reports and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead teams of subcontractors and field technicians and ensure clear communication across all phases.
Coordinate testing commissioning documentation and project closeout deliverables.
Qualifications:
5 10 years of project management experience in low voltage systems with 3 years specifically in data center environments.
Strong technical knowledge of structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A OM3/OM4 fiber) security and access control systems.
Familiarity with data center operational standards such as ANSI/BICSI 002 Uptime Institute Tier levels and hyperscale best practices.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings floor plans risers and technical schematics.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Procore Smartsheet).
Excellent leadership communication and vendor coordination skills.
PMP BICSI RCDD or equivalent certification preferred.
OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Preferred Experience:
Previous work on hyperscale data center builds (Microsoft Google Meta AWS etc.).
Experience managing fast-paced multi-site low voltage understanding of commissioning closeout documentation and structured testing processes.
