Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in health and social care subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop and implement course materials including lectures seminars and practical sessions.
- Assess student performance through coursework examinations and feedback sessions.
- Supervise student research projects and dissertations.
- Engage in curriculum development and continuous improvement of educational standards.
- Participate in academic administration and departmental activities.
- Contribute to the research profile of the department by publishing in relevant academic journals.
- Maintain professional knowledge by engaging with current trends and developments in the field of health and social care.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students fostering a positive learning environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Health and Social Care Public Health or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one.
- Strong knowledge of current health and social care policies and practices.
Desired Experience:
- Previous teaching experience at a higher education level in health and social care.
- Experience in curriculum design and educational assessment methods.
- Professional experience in the health and social care sectors.
- Evidence of research output or publications in relevant fields.
