Job Description
Trucrete Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our growing construction team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are upheld across all project phases from planning through to execution and delivery.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within large-scale construction projects particularly in civil works roads and infrastructure.
Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
Oversee inspection and testing of materials workmanship and construction processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and specifications.
Coordinate with project engineers consultants and contractors to address quality-related issues.
Lead site audits and provide technical guidance to project teams on quality matters.
Manage and review documentation such as Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Method Statements and NCRs.
Track and report quality metrics progress and areas of concern to senior management.
Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and accessible for audits.
Train site staff on quality procedures and best practices.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Methodological & Material Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of solid QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
Proven expertise in roadworks bridges heavy civil infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of international QA/QC standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
Experience in preparing and reviewing technical documentation and quality reports.
Excellent communication problem-solving and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and QA/QC software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
Membership of a recognized engineering or quality professional body.
Experience working with government or multinational clients is an added advantage.
