Job Description
We re currently seeking an experienced Plater to join our client s team in the structural steel industry. If you have a strong background in reading technical drawings and fabricating steel components we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
Cut mark and assemble structural steel components to specification
Use oxy-fuel cutting grinding and other hand tools
Ensure high standards of accuracy and quality
Work to health & safety guidelines at all times
Collaborate with welders fitters and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Plater in a structural steel environment
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and machinery
Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
NVQ or equivalent in Fabrication & Welding (desirable)
