Job Description
As a Senior Motion Capture Specialist youll take a key role in planning and executing mocap sessions and processing animation data across projects. Youll work closely with a diverse team of artists animators and developers to bring believable high-quality performances to life.
Daily responsibilities:
- Overseeing all stages of the motion capture shoot.
- Processing mocap data: retargeting solving tracking.
- Coordinating logistics and collaborating with internal stakeholders during shoot planning.
- Designing and assembling mobile mocap setups for offsite shoots.
- Maintaining and improving hardware related to the mocap pipeline.
- Researching new technologies to evolve the teams pipeline and practices.
Qualifications :
- 4 years of professional experience in motion capture in production environments (games film or commercials).
- Proficiency with at least one mocap software suite (preferably Shogun or Blade).
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk MotionBuilder.
- Experience designing setups for remote/on-location shoots.
- Familiarity with solving pipelines and video capture systems.
- Timecode syncing experience is a plus.
- Python scripting experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced creative settings.
- Collaborative and inclusive approach to teamwork.
- Fluent English and Polish (spoken and written).
