Pay Range: $21.30 - $25.10
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform reception tasks for the Cherry Plant Human Resources office which includes interpreting assisting and advising team members leave management payroll and benefit administration HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines including working to resolve simple and complex issues in these areas.
- Maintain attendance records for production team members.
- Complete and maintain leaves of absences and respective log.
- Perform weekly payroll tasks to include calculation and payout of sick vacation jury funeral and holiday pay. Make proper adjustments based on availability/eligibility of associated balances.
- Process terminations to include final pay termination letters and other relevant termination documents in conjunction with HR and Payroll.
- Handling of checks including logging returned checks to HR distributing and mailing final checks/direct deposit paystubs.
- Perform miscellaneous duties including: typing of memos and job letters issuing ID badges providing wage loss verification requests ordering SDI claims forms.
- Barcode and scan all documents pertaining to employee records at the Cherry Plant including but not limited to Personnel Action Forms Requisitions Leaves of Absences excuse notes disciplinary actions EDD documents verifications evaluations/appraisals and termination documents. Plus ensure documents were received by Central HR and applied to team members records.
- Miscellaneous duties including providing support to Director of HR HR Supervisor and HR Administrator.
Qualifications :
Job Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent HR experience. College degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision.
- Computer literate in Windows environment and proficient in Microsoft Applications at intermediate level.
- Ability to read/write in English. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/Punjabi/Hmong).
- Exceptional customer service skills; Ability to work in a very faced-paced constantly changing environment with team members and applicants from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
