Job Description
Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Field Project Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles
The PMI will serve as the Countys field representative during construction of a phased seismic upgrade to the occupied high-rise building. This position involves daily coordination with the CMAR and County inspectors to ensure smooth project delivery and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily site monitoring and reporting for construction progress inspections and QA/QC.
- Support RFI/submittal review process construction schedule tracking and issue resolution.
- Participate in punch lists project closeout and document control functions.
- Coordinate with deputy inspectors specialty consultants and code-compliance teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in architecture engineering or construction management.
- Minimum 5 years of field experience managing $50M high-rise or seismic retrofit projects.
- Familiarity with design-build and job order contracting.
Preferred:
- California PE or Architect license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
- Experience in move management and County capital project procedures
Additional Information :
The salary range for this full-time role is $95k-$140k per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
