Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality installations while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to excellence.
- Inspect mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Review contractor shop drawings and submittals to verify alignment with project requirements
- Monitor the installation testing and commissioning of mechanical systems confirming proper functionality and performance
- Identify and report non-conformances coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintain detailed reports logs and records for quality control and compliance tracking
- Witness and document critical tests such as pressure tests leak tests and system start-ups
- Verify the quality of materials workmanship and equipment installations to ensure adherence to project specifications
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion
- Stay updated on relevant codes regulations and industry best practices
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction Architecture Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction inspection specifically related to mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with project management systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection
- Experience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals (preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with industry standards codes and regulations related to mechanical systems
- Willingness to work in Riyadh Saudi Arabia
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
