Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Harwood Dental Practice in Tavistock
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being are passionate about delivering great service and looking for a career where you can learn grow and develop then this could be a perfect fit for you.
- Full-time hours 40 hrs Monday to Friday
- Typical shifts are Monday 8.45- 7pm Tuesday 8.45-5pm Wednesday & Thursday 8.45- 6pm Friday 7.45-3.15pm
- Parking is available on the road close to practice
- Well established Small boutique practice who offer an extensive range of treatments including Invisalign implants and cosmetic dentistry.
- Wonderful friendly & supportive team
At this friendly 2-surgery practice we care for private patients. Youll work alongside Specialists in this modern and well-equipped practice.

About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist hygienist or therapist in all procedures
