Job Description
REPORTING TO: Network Team Lead Environment Testing Europe
GEOGRAPHICAL REPORTING LOCATION: India
WORKING LOCATION: Bengaluru India
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
As a member of the IT Infrastructure Support Team at Eurofins Environment Testing Europe you will join a growing international crew to work on the maintenance of recently deployed segregated IT User Zones and Application Availability Groups. Your role will involve supporting daily operational tasks including designing and implementing new infrastructure or migrating existing network components in line with current standards. You will collaborate with various IT Support and Delivery Teams daily which will require networking and network security skills. An open mind and the ability to cooperate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds are essential.
Qualifications :
SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:
- Support and maintain current IT User Zones and IT Application Availability Groups network infrastructure.
- Design plan and implement network IT Infrastructure for transformation / integration / segregation throughout environment testing businesses across Europe. These projects will be aimed to perform installations configuration and migrations of enterprise-level network IT infrastructure systems from legacy to the new solutions.
- Propose and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs in terms of security cost and bandwidth.
- Work close with Server Cloud Application team members do deliver the IT Infrastructure as wider project. Act based on the end-to-end view of the infrastructure.
- Document the solutions delivered.
Years of Exp: 8 to 10 yrs
REQUIRED SKILLS:
An ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in most of the following areas:
- Next Generation Firewalls (FortiGate) FCP level.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining network components (Firewalls Switches Wifi AP VPN SD-WAN) including firmware upgrades and downgrades.
- Proficiency in various protocols: TCP/IP SNMP 802.1Q STP SSLVPN BGP.
- Proficiency with FortiManager FortiAnalyzer & familiarity with FortiSwitch and FortiAP.
- Experience in Cloud Networking Azure.
- Ability to read comprehend and create technical documentation for delivered solutions.
- A collaborative team player who can effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong presentation skills to communicate technical projects effectively in meetings.
- Cisco switches administration
- Experience with protocols such as DNS DHCP NTP and HTTP.
- Hands on experience in automation related to network tasks. (Any language)
Any of below skills would provide a significant advantage:
- Fortinet certifications / training (FCP / FCSS in Cloud Network Security... etc)
- Experience in C# or phyton.
- Cisco Certification (CCNA CCNP)
- Experience in network monitoring site24x7.
- Experience in ticketing tool ServiceNow BMC Helix
- Cloud Certifications like AZ700
