Job Description
3-4 month internship role at an exciting start-up with exposure to roles in Sales Engineering and Operations.
Reporting directly to the Application Engineering Manager you will create structural designs and
collaborate with our Account Executives and application specialists by advising clients on
industrial solutions. In this role you will provide designing insights to our clients using Ventions
MachineBuilder CAD Software. Youll work closely with stakeholders on hundreds of industrial
projectsand gain an insiders knowledge of leading manufacturing automotive robotics and
aerospace companies.
In this role you will:
Work closely with customers at flagship manufacturing companies to understand their
requirements and create effective solutions/design using Vention 3D MachineBuilder and
library of modular components
Lead design review sessions with clients to provide feedback and insight on their design
Review users designs for performance structural integrity efficiency and quality
Create custom parts and drawings using standard CAD software
Contribute to the development of Ventions parts library and CAD by providing
continuous feedback to our hardware and software team to improve the product
Train clients on design best practices with MachineBuilder
Test and troubleshoot designs assembled in-house prior to shipment
Support the application engineering team with subsystem designs on complex
automation projects
Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Table:
Currently working toward undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Strong communication skills and at ease presenting to clients
Demonstrated ability to provide white glove customer service
Passion for daily client interactions and mechanical designs
