Job Description
- Perform general periodic and preventive maintenance on construction equipment.
- Diagnose identified anomalies and determine their causes.
- Analyze breakdowns and failures to assess the nature of repairs and the time required to complete them.
- Carry out all necessary repairs to ensure proper machinery operation.
- Respond to internal clients technical questions.
- Complete work orders and inspection sheets documenting completed tasks and/or reported defects.
- Ensure the service vehicle is equipped with all necessary tools before heading to a site.
- Ensure proper use and functionality of company equipment.
- Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions detected issues or time overruns.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and organized.
- Work safely while adhering to company health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications :
- Experience in Heavy Equipment Maintenance Strong background in maintaining diagnosing and repairing construction machinery.
- Mechanical and Diagnostic Skills Ability to analyze failures identify root causes and perform necessary repairs.
- Technical Knowledge Proficiency in working with hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems in construction equipment.
- Attention to Detail Ability to complete work orders and inspection reports accurately while ensuring high-quality repairs.
- Problem-Solving Skills Capability to assess issues efficiently and determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
- Safety Awareness Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations (OHS) and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
