Job Description
The LISD TECH Center is home to over 26 Career Technical Education programs available to high school students in Lenawee County. Program instructors come with years of experience in their specific industry and are able to share their passions with students. TECH Center programs offer industry-recognized credentials college credits and technical skills needed to find success after high school.
Learning assistants at the TECH Center work directly with special population students that are in need of extra academic support. Each learning assistant works with multiple students from multiple programs at the TECH Center in order to help them be successful.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
High School Diploma
College course work in education and/or human services field
Demonstrated experience working with individual student needs
Demonstrated competence in math reading and writing at 12th grade level
Preferred:
Experience working as a team member in a work environment
Experience working with high school students
Associate Degree
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
38 Weeks; salary per Teacher/Learning Assistant Training Incentive Salary Schedule. Salary Non-Exempt.
