Job Description
We are seeking Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate 2 to join Q2Solutions IQVIAs laboratory businessat Durham NC.

As a Specimen Receipt & Processing Associate 2 you will accurately accession clinical specimens support operational workflows guide new team members and resolve routine processing issues to ensure quality and compliance.
What youll be doing:
Accession and label clinical samples for testing and storage
Maintain freezer inventory and support sample tracking
Identify errors and escalate potential problems to senior staff
Guide and mentor entry-level team members during onboarding
Respond to job-critical alarms and after-hours alerts
Manage receipt of compounds and control materials (as applicable)
Ensure compliance with safety quality and 6S standards
Communicate clearly and promptly with cross-functional teams
What We Are Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6 months of related lab or sample processing experience
Basic computer skills and ability to follow operational procedures
Familiarity with sample handling inventory systems and lab safety Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures
Detail-oriented with ability to troubleshoot operational issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
Experience navigating sample workflows and managing time-sensitive tasks.
