The Chief Program and Impact Officer is primarily responsible for the strategic development and management of YWCA Daytons mission-based programs and oversees and directs the YWCA program portfolio through the lens of equity and belonging. The CPIO implements the organizations overall programs strategy set by the Board of Directors with the CEO. The CPIO engages staff to find innovative equity-based approaches to service delivery and works to prove and improve intended results in a cost-effective manner. In addition the CPIO has responsibility for grant funding related to CPIOs program sphere.
The CPIO serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and will work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Major Duties and Expectations:
1. In conjunction with senior management and board guidance:
2. Articulate and implement a significant portfolio of programs (such as Sojourn Leadership Academy Human Resources Voices Against Violence and the organizational data platform).
3. Develop and implement inclusive and trauma informed programming
4. Monitors program quality data compliance and outcomes
5. Ensures consistency of all program areas
6. Fosters relationships with key external stakeholders
7. Oversees HR Budget
8. Creates and implements a staff development and training process consistent with the goals of the organization including equity and empowerment topics and issues
9. Builds cross-functional teams between program areas
