You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDavis Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Case Manager to join the Children Youth and Families Mental Health outpatient team in its Quest day treatment program. The Youth Day Treatment Case Manager is a Bachelors level mental health professional who provides services to adolescents in day treatment who are experiencing a variety of behavioral and psychiatric symptoms. Services include targeted case management behavior management and skills development provided in both individual and group settings.

This is a full-time position and is normally assigned to weekdays. This schedule may require three evenings per week. DBH reserves the right to require overtime weekend work and/or assignment to evening or night shifts depending upon operational need some in and out of state travel may be required.

Experience
Experience providing case management services to youth and their families knowledge of behavior modification principles and teaching life skills to adolescents and families in a group setting.
Preferred
Candidates licensed as a Social Service Worker (SSW) are strongly preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed but are actively pursuing SSW licensure or those that do not have a SSW license but are eligible for Targeted Case Management Certification may also be considered.

Targeted Case Management Certification
Candidates who do not hold a professional license must complete certification as a Targeted Case Manager (TCM) within the first 30 days of employment.
Qualifications to become a certified Targeted Case Manager through the State of Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health include:
Preference will also be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish.
The successful candidate must also have a clean driving record to operate agency vehicles and/or transport clients when necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients that have sever mental illness are hard working can work both independently and successfully within a small outreach team.

DBH Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening Disclaimer
Davis Behavioral Health is a drug-free workplace and requires all employees to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws including no use of medical marijuana.
Further all employees at DBH must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check as part of DBHs licensing agreement with the State of Utah. Failure to pass either screening will result in the termination of any job offer submitted and/or employment for any individual who has started employment while the criminal background screening is in process. Pending and/or open charges will likely impact a candidates ability to pass the pre-employment criminal background screening.
