Far Ridgeline Engagements LLC a Qinetiq US company is seeking an Cyber Analyst Mid-Level in Elkridge MD who is able to perform analysis of specialized and/or technical data make assessments and recommendations and prepares documentation related to associated data and analysis.

• Support network scanning to identify security vulnerabilities and intrusion detection parameters
• Support the implementation of Industrial/Physical security systems assessments and inspections based on regulations and industry standards new DOD FIPS 201-2 standards and NIST 800-53
• Perform cyber research/analysis of cyber threats and events and evaluates information/physical security systems and practices
• Provide integrated cyber Intelligence/cyber-technical analytic expertise
• Support policy procedural and technical documentation development
• Knowledge of the ISC standard: Risk Management Process for Federal Facilities: Design Basis Threat.

• TS/SCI with CI Poly or ability to pass one #qinetiqclearedjob
• BS in an IT-related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in cyber analytics
• Possess a working knowledge of tying together the considerations and capabilities of the Internet of Things and physical security systems on federal enterprise systems
• Experience with improving processes focused on the integration of CI and cyber investigations
• Experience with managing network security identity and access management
• Experience with understanding engaging and determining system safety performance and reliability
• Experience with federal security regulations standards and business processes including FISMA DOD FIPS-201-2 and NIST 800-53
• Experience with the NIST Risk Management framework
• Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by translating technical information and guidance into standard operating procedures
• Knowledge of the information security risk assessment process.
• Knowledge of Computer Network Defense and vulnerability assessment tools including open source tools and their capabilities.

• Previous federal consulting experience preferably within a law enforcement agency
• Possess one of the following certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Security and/or Network
