Pay Range: $16.00 - $26.00 / hour

Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Audiologist to administer well baby and neonatal screening assist the SLP in administrations of Fiber optic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) prepare patient for balance testing/speech treatment sessions assist with hearing conversation and audiology testing. To perform equipment maintenance FEES scope reprocessing FEES cart stocking/inventory hearing aid repair recordkeeping clerical duties and other support functions. To contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders or a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as an Assistant by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA) required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
