The role
In this role you will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement. We have five (5) available positions at our accommodation services in the South Metro area.
The Atwell service is a female only service so only female applicants will be considered. The services in Willagee will consider Male and Female applications.

A typical day in the role may look like
- Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customers life goals and working to achieve them
- Joining customers in recreational activities;
- Supporting customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation housekeeping health and hygiene medication administration and attending appointments;
- Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
- Administration duties and mandatory daily reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Experience with Dementia and associated medications
- Passion for providing service and assistance and helping others live their best lives
- Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration
- Willingness to assist with personal care (showering toileting) and domestic duties (meal preparation housekeeping)
- Proven administration and computer literacy skills
- Availability to work one of the included roster patterns
- Willingness to use your fully insured and registered private vehicle (aligned with Activs motor vehicle allowance rebate).
