Pioneer Valley Regional School is seeking a
full-time Middle School Counselor to join our team. The
Middle School Counselor will become part of a compassionate and professional counseling department that includes a School Psychologist School Adjustment Counselor and High School Counselor.
Key ResponsibilitiesMeet regularly with students and families to provide academic social and emotional supportCoordinate and manage all middle school 504 plansCollaborate with teachers the Adjustment Counselor and administration to develop strategies that support student success and family engagementBuild and manage middle school student schedulesParticipate in Student of Concern meetings and serve as an active member of the middle school teamDesign and facilitate classes focused on executive functioning and healthy relationships.Promote a positive inclusive and developmentally appropriate school climateThe Pioneer Valley Regional School District values educators at all stages of their careers.
