Description- Serve as an integral member of the Radiology team supporting both patients and departmental operations to ensure efficient workflow and safe patient care.

- Prioritize multiple daily tasks in a fast-paced constantly changing work environment.
- Remain adaptable and flexible within a strong team structure.
- Support pre- and post-procedure/exam setup and related tasks.
- Assist with clerical duties as needed.
- Manage supplies through stocking and inventory management.
- Turn over rooms and disinfect departmental areas and equipment.

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by leadership including the training of new employees.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate professionally with staff patients and visitors across the campus.
Perform procedural duties including:
- Sterile procedure setup
- Adherence to Universal Protocol
- Patient identification verification
- Specimen and medication labeling
- Specimen collection and handling
Assist with:
- Patient transport and safe patient transfer techniques
- Exam setup and patient positioning
Fulfill department-specific responsibilities including:
- Required education and knowledge of safety practices involving equipment and isolation precautions
- Operation and assistance with power injectors
- Removal of IVs and application/removal of leads cuffs and oxygen
- Obtaining and uploading prior outside imaging and reports
- Assistance with tracking studies
QualificationsHigh School Graduate or G.E.D Equivalent
Additional Qualifications
Successful completion of a BLS course within the first 6 months of employment.
