Job Description

The Danvers Public Schools is looking for a dynamic passionate certified elementary music educator to lead a student centered K-5 general/vocal music program.Reports To: Great Oak School PrincipalRoles and Responsibilities

The candidate will be someone who is excited to collaborate with the elementary music department to deliver lessons grounded in the Danvers Public Schools elementary music curriculum.

Responsibilities will include designing and implementing creative student centered lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of our students directing a fourth and fifth grade children s chorus collaborative participation in elementary and district wide music department meetings.

Experience with or certification in the Orff Schulwerk Approach is preferred.Full time benefited employees at the Danvers Public Schools are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package offered through the Town of Danvers.
