The Logistics Specialist will perform a variety of administrative and business tasks in support of the Shipping Receiving Inventory and Traffic functions for defensive weaponry parts owned by the U.S Government within a Raytheon Technology (RTX) Warehouse in Louisville KY.

What You Will Do

  • Preparation of receiving/induction paperwork which includes a manifest labels and other necessary identification methods as needed.
  • Providing guidance at times to peers and the hourly workforce when fulfilling a customer request.
  • Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving identifying and distribution of materials.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the Property and Inventory Management system and will be accountable for Property throughout the life cycle of material.
  • Research and develop solutions to a variety of asset problems utilizing the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other industry standards.
  • Communicate directly with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain all necessary files and documentation related to government receiving and shipping; research; and resolve all problems associated with government material.
  • Responsible for inventory control by creating entering and researching during cycle counts.
  • Work through inventory discrepancies by collaborating with our onsite government customer.
  • Utilize business tools to scan process and maintain records in accordance with our record keeping systems.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and or a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience. or an Advanced Degree.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain Logistics Operations Production Manufacturing Transportation Inventory Shipping and Receiving and/or Warehouse.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior knowledge and experience with DOT and ITAR shipping regulations for dangerous goods.
  • Previous ITAR experience
  • US Customs Regulations Import and Export knowledge.
  • SAP ERP and 3PL Logistics experience
  • Demonstrate experience in managing government furnished or owned material.
  • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
  • Exhibit high standards of customer service.
  • Experience coordinating outbound shipping documentation for commercial and government shipments.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite and computer systems databases and processes
  • Shipping and packaging materials for both domestic and international transport
  • Experience with Inventory Cycle Count Process

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
