Job Title: Student Worker - Public Relations Intern - Waco Habitat for Humanity

Job Classification:Community Service Student

Department: Off Campus Community Service

Hiring Manager: Teri Hall

Contact:

Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm

Desired Length of Employment: Fall / Spring

Pay Rate: $12.00

Job Description:
This position is reserved for Federal Work Study (FWS) students only.

The Public Relations Intern is responsible for bringing new ideas to document Waco Habitat for Humanity and ReStore work in the community. Create content to bring more social visibility and awareness about our organization using various social media platforms. Will need to assist our Director of Development Director of Homeowner Services and Director of ReStore Operations as needed with social media posts fundraising promotions newsletter design etc. Must have excellent computer skills and be well versed in all aspects of professional and workplace writing website creation and edit media printing content creation and story writing. Bi-lingual is preferred but not required.

This is an off-campus employment and reliable transportation is important.
