Investment Strategist Institutional Solutions
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with previous experience to join our Institutional Solutions team. In this role you will be responsible for working closely with existing and prospective clients to understand their investment objectives and to transform them into actionable effective investment strategies and solutions.

As the asset management business of one of the UKs largest insurers our experience makes us a natural partner for clients looking for consistent returns and enhanced capital preservation through market cycles. We invest across public and private markets with extensive fixed income capabilities and we offer bespoke solutions that cater to individual client needs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the strategists within the team the investment management desks (for example our buy-and-maintain credit and LDI teams) and operational teams. Through the delivery of tailored investment solutions youll be able to work with a diverse range of clients primarily focused upon defined benefit pension schemes but with the ability to work with insurers and other institutional investors. A large part of the role is to solve investment problems on an ongoing basis. This opportunity offers the right candidate the ability to grow their existing investment knowledge through interesting and challenging client work.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Experience in solutions asset management or investment consulting business is desirable
A broad understanding of public and private asset classes including derivatives.
Ability to communicate and present complex topics to clients
Investment or similar professional qualifications would be beneficial.
A highly organised self-motivated individual with the ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously

In this role youll be Certified under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authoritys Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that well need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and well need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain fit and proper and competent to carry out your role. Well provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
