About us
Placemaking NSW is responsible for managing and caring for some of Sydneys most iconic harbourside venues and locations including The Rocks Barangaroo Darling Harbour and White Bay Power Station. We also lead the planning and delivery of the Bays West Urban Renewal Precinct a state significant project that will bring new homes jobs and public spaces to 77 hectares of government-owned land just 2 kilometres from Sydneys CBD.
The role
Were looking for someone who knows events inside outfrom live music in the park to private functions in unique venues. Youll be the go-to for matching the right events to the right spaces helping clients navigate requirements and ensuring every activation adds vibrancy and value to our precincts. Youll work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-profile events that bring people together and boost the citys energy.
This role is all about connection and impact. Youll manage venue sales and client relationships advise on event planning and compliance and help secure events that drive visitation and economic benefit. Its fast-paced people-focused and perfect for someone who thrives under pressure and loves solving problems collaboratively
