The Supervisor Materials Distribution supervises the daily ordering pulling receiving delivering and replenishment of supplies in order to meet department and patient needs. This role oversees that inventory data is correctly recorded and ensures tracking of inventory expiration dates in order to keep inventory up-to-date and usable in the department. The schedule for this position is 3:30pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday but also must be available for 3rd shift when needed.
Responsibilities
Manages inventorying reordering pulling restocking rotating inventory and checking the expiration dates of inventory in order to meet departmental needs.
Inspects working and storage areas and ensures clean and orderly conditions.
Approves removal of non-functional equipment and supplies from service and reports problems to the proper department(s) for corrective action.
Reviews daily accuracy of inventory cycle counting and electronic supply replenishment.
Reviews data entry of inventory up to date making changes or drafting corresponding paperwork as necessary.
Ensures supply deliveries are complete and accurate and that the condition of the supplies is acceptable.
Investigates and resolves back orders and other delivery issues and product returns.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 3 years of experience in healthcare materials management or other related supply chain field management.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required: Valid Drivers License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management)
