Job Description

Come join the Murdock Auto Team! We are looking for a BDC Agent for our Corporate BDC Service Reception Center.

This is a FT position with varying shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm Mon-Sat.

$16-$18 per hour DOE


Job Summary

The Service BDC Agent is responsible for answering service clients questions and to schedule appointments to visit our dealerships. Additionally you will be responsible for completing outbound follow-up calls.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for responding to all incoming and outgoing phone calls emails and review vin # information for active and open recalls while setting appointments. Must be able to explain the process and provide estimated wait times for maintenance and other services.
  • Follow up with customers on missed appointments to reschedule and send customer reminders for upcoming service appointments daily.
  • Follow up with customers regarding their experience while visiting the service department. Send any feedback to the BDC Manager and each individual Service Manager for the location it pertains to.
  • Organize a daily/Weekly strategy to align with the companys special order parts 30 day process.
  • Stay up to date on the Impel messages for ALL locations answer questions set appointments and update the customer profile as needed.
  • Pull Manufacture Reports and notifications and contact customers accordingly to set appointments.
  • Personal phone calls or cell phones usage are limited to emergencies only or while on a break or lunch.
  • Use company computer software to satisfy job requirements.
  • Provide extreme confidentiality in all company-related issues.
  • Support the efforts of other employees to create a collaborative team culture.
  • Protect the legal financial and moral well-being of the company.
  • All other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or manager.

Experience & Skills.

  • A keen attention to detail excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Work independently and be self-motivated to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Strong work ethic & reliability.
  • Lead with integrity while producing high-quality work.
  • Previous receptionist and/or customer Service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk working with a computer and phone system.
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time.
