You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Volunteer Manager works with older adults to find meaning and connection through volunteer experiences in the community and within LIFE Senior Services Vintage Housing and PACE. This will include marketing the program and the recruitment and placement of volunteers. The Volunteer Manager will work with non-profits in the community to place and retain their volunteer workforce. Additionally this role will lead members of the Volunteer Department.
The successful candidate will be someone who genuinely enjoys meeting and collaborating with a broad variety personalities. The Volunteer Manager should be self-motivated organized and enjoy designing and implementing strategy to connect seniors and their communities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SKILLS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A four-year Bachelors degree is preferred or but equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred experience includes some management/direct-supervisory experience. Experience developing a major new project is desirable. Experience working with or working as a volunteer preferred. Computer experience with Word Excel and online communication is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting standing walking and repetitive leg and arm movements occasional bending reaching forward and overhead squatting and kneeling. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Ability to communicate verbally with an excellent comprehension of the English language.
CERTIFICATION LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
Oklahoma Drivers License and auto insurance.
