Job Title: Cloud Architect
Location: Lansing Michigan
Type: Full-Time / Contract
Job Summary:
Were seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern secure and scalable cloud-based applications for CEPI. You will guide application teams ensure cloud best practices and align system architecture with business needs. This role focuses on cloud modernization integration with internal/external systems and long-term technical strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design enterprise-level cloud application architecture.
Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts.
Ensure integration with SaaS APIs COTS and legacy systems.
Guide teams on security scalability and reusability.
Coordinate with DTMB vendors and multiple agencies.
Maintain documentation and enforce cloud best practices.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Azure .NET APIs REST/SOAP IaC and PowerShell.
Knowledge of cloud security microservices and observability.
Skilled in enterprise architecture integration and SDLC.
Proficient with tools like SQL HTML XML Microsoft Visio and Office.
Ability to lead technical discussions and provide clear documentation.
Preferred Experience:
5 years in cloud architecture and enterprise systems.
Hands-on with cloud-based development deployment and governance.
Familiar with state/federal systems integration.
