Job Description

Department: Rehab Services Cost Center: 7780 Reports to: Rehab Services Role: Speech Language Pathologist Role: Inpatient and outpatient SLP for adult patients # of shifts per week: Up to 5 Shift Start and End Time: 08:00-17:00 Weekends/On call/Holidays Yes for Inpt. could include wknds Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs; with white lab coat Licensure: SLP Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Master s or equivalent post grad for SLP licensure Experience: 2 years adult Inpt-acute care & 2 years Outpatient adult Number of years of experience: 2 Preferred skills: Acute hospital adult swallow evaluations & treatment; Cognitive evaluation & treatments. Trach/Vent experience needed. For outpt: speech/swallow evaluation and treatments of neurologic conditions. Summary of Major Function: Evaluate and Treat adult patients (18 and over) with speech language cognitive or swallow deficits and make recommendations treatment plans and carry out follow up care/treatment of these conditions on inpt acute floors or on an outpt basis.
