Job Description
- Examine collect record and maintain patient information including medical history diagnostic reports and examination results.
- Prescribe or administer appropriate treatment plans therapies medications vaccinations and other care to treat or prevent illnesses injuries or chronic conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs echocardiograms stress tests and imaging studies to diagnose cardiovascular conditions.
- Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions in a non-invasive setting.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary medical teams to coordinate care.
- Stay current with medical knowledge and practices in cardiology through continuing education and professional development.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (ABIM).
- Valid and Active Texas license.
- Completion of a fellowship in Cardiology (non-invasive focus).
- Strong clinical diagnostic and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with EKG echocardiography nuclear cardiology and stress testing
