Job Description
Location: Marble Falls TX 78654
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures in accordance with exam protocols.
- Follow standardized procedures to ensure quality and efficiency of all imaging processes.
- Communicate effectively using AIDET principles to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures; assess patients ability to tolerate imaging.
- Properly position and prepare patients for imaging; ensure correct operation of equipment.
- Maintain safety by adhering to infection control radiation and safety policies.
- Apply sterile techniques when performing invasive multimodality procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and fully operational; report malfunctions promptly.
- Monitor and manage supply inventory.
- Screen all individuals entering imaging areas for safety in compliance with policy.
- Maintain and verify accurate documentation (requisitions patient history consents etc.).
- Accurately store imaging records and ensure timely availability for interpretation.
- Proficient in breast imaging procedures performed independently and accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledgeable in first aid and emergency protocols.
- Ability to maintain patient satisfaction by minimizing wait times and offering courteous care.
- Demonstrated ongoing professional development and ability to care for diverse age groups (newborn to geriatric).
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Licensure/Certification:
- Texas MRT license
- ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT-M Certification in Mammography
