Job Description

RN - Labor and Delivery (Permanent Role)

Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit including monitoring fetal heart tones vital signs and labor progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians midwives and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care during labor and delivery.
  • Assist with vaginal deliveries cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
  • Administer medications including IV therapy and epidurals as prescribed.
  • Support and educate patients and their families through labor and delivery processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies and ensure a safe delivery environment.
  • Follow hospital policies procedures and nursing standards of care.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
  • Current Texas RN license.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire.
