Job Description
Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit including monitoring fetal heart tones vital signs and labor progress.
- Collaborate with physicians midwives and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care during labor and delivery.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
- Administer medications including IV therapy and epidurals as prescribed.
- Support and educate patients and their families through labor and delivery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and ensure a safe delivery environment.
- Follow hospital policies procedures and nursing standards of care.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
- Current Texas RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire.
