Guidewire Developer PolicyCenter & Integration Focus

Job Description
Access Global Group (AGG) is seeking a skilled and hands-on Guidewire Developer with demonstrated experience in Integration Gateway (IG) and Advanced Product Designer (APD). This role focuses on building scalable cloud-aligned solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter while also supporting integrations across BillingCenter and ClaimCenter. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) environments and a deep understanding of cloud-native integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize PolicyCenter using GOSU including enhancements to data models business rules PCF screens and workflows.
• Design and implement product models using Advanced Product Designer (APD) for multi-LOB support (e.g. BOP General Liability Umbrella).
• Lead and build external system integrations using Integration Gateway (IG) aligning with GWCP integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs event-driven services).
• Translate integration requirements into scalable secure and maintainable microservices using Java or Python.
• Support API Gateway configurations service transformations and message routing using Guidewires IG framework.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure solutions follow Guidewire Cloud architecture and deployment standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies peer reviews and technical design sessions.
• Manage configuration deployment via CI/CD pipelines troubleshoot production issues and monitor integration performance.
• Partner with DevOps QA and Business Analysts to ensure quality delivery and cloud-readiness of Guidewire implementations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 8 years in software development with 3 years of hands-on Guidewire InsuranceSuite experience.
• Strong background in PolicyCenter configuration including Product Model Rating Plugins and UI.
• Direct production-level experience with Integration Gateway (IG) in a Guidewire Cloud environment.
• Proficiency in Advanced Product Designer (APD) for modeling LOBs and aligning with business product definitions.
• Skilled in GOSU Java and SQL; familiarity with or Python for service-layer integration.
• Solid understanding of Guidewires Messaging architecture service orchestration and integration best practices.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs API transformations and external authentication mechanisms (OAuth SAML etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud deployment tools such as Terraform Jenkins Git and cloud monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch Datadog).
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment with geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire Associate or Professional Certification in PolicyCenter Integration or Cloud.
• Experience integrating with third-party vendors (e.g. payment processors document generation rating engines).
• Familiarity with DevConnect Product Content Management (PCM) and Guidewires cloud-specific components.
• Exposure to ClaimCenter and BillingCenter configuration and integration is a plus.
