Job Description
Position Title
AGM/DGM Quality machine shop
Position Reporting To
Plant head and corporate head Quality

Aurangabad

Machine Shop Quality
Responsibility
- Hands on Experience in Incoming Inspection In-Process Inspection Final Inspection and New product development activities
- Hands on Experience in PPAP activities PFD CCP FMEA and FAI
- Handle independently and performing the NDT methods like UT DPT and MPT - Preferably EN 9712 level II
- Analysis of quality data at the production cells and improvements in first pass yield
- Customer Complaints and internal Quality issue handling.
- Maintaining all the in-process data and identifying the root cause for any deviation in Component.
- Data collection & analysis of Process rejections at respective cells and Preparing the MIS /KPIs on Daily & Monthly Basis.
- Measurement System Analysis of Equipment & Instruments.
- Hands on experience on CMM.
- Planning & execution of calibration activities & ensuring availability of calibrated instruments online.
- Daily 5 S audits and Daily Gemba meeting.
- Motivate and coach the team to operational success.
Customer focus
- To be in close interaction with Production Team
- To prepare inspection reports / test certificates to customers on time without any delay.
- Customer complaint monitoring and analysis and to give feedback to concern depart for corrective actions

- Production With Line supervisors and Managers

Measure of performance
- Timely submission of Inspection reports
- RCCMs for the fall outs during the production run
- Supplier PPM
- Internal PPM at all the respective cells
- External PPM & Customer Complaints
Background and Skill:

- in Engineering with Min 15 20 years experience in Quality specialization in managing Machine shops High precision Products and small and big range shafts manufacturing from reputed industry.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process of fabrication and Machining.
- Having Basic knowledge of Metallurgy and Metrology.
- Problem solving skills planning & delegation communication and team collaboration.
- Fair knowledge in NDT methods and welding
- Experience in QMS and Quality improvements
- Experience in Quality systems Team leadership
- Experience in analytical tools and improvements preferably with six sigma knowledge.
- Experience in Customer audits/ third party audits
- New product development process
